is performed by people living
on the produce of the global poor

is just as valid as being or eating a pig
Our concept of empathy
should extend to those whose minds aren't quite as free
to drift, to roam from home-town laid down layers of meaning
When you scream it for yourself you do it in context
So I'll purge my words of irony
And I'll earnestly yearn for the world we wish to see
And as a cis, white, able, middle-class man,
perhaps the hardest thing for me
is avoiding silent reinforcement
and setting the problem free by saying:
most people aren't as lucky as me.

scramble to see the reach
